What does your next trip earn?
This is the trip calculator from inside the app, free to use. Type a route, pick a cabin and see the XP and UXP it earns.
What are XP?
XP (Experience Points) decide your Flying Blue status. From Explorer, 100 XP in a qualification year reach Silver. Each new level then counts from zero: 180 XP more for Gold, 300 more for Platinum. Every flight earns XP by distance band and cabin. UXP are the XP you earn on KLM and Air France flights. 900 UXP on top of Platinum make Ultimate. How to earn XP

That answers one question. With your statement, the app answers the rest:
Status forecast
Know where you will land before Flying Blue tells you
Flying Blue counts what you have flown. SkyStatus adds what you have booked and sets both against the end of your qualification year. You see whether you keep your level, move up or fall short, and by how many XP.
- Recorded, booked and still to find, in XP and UXP
- Level-ups and rollover on Flying Blue's own ladder
- Recorded XP traced to the rows on your statement
Status Coach
A coach that turns the gap into a plan
Tell SkyStatus which status you are after. The Coach counts your booked and planned trips and the XP you get every year, for example from a credit card. For the XP still missing, it suggests which trip to take, based on your past trips. A voluntary contribution to SAF, a cleaner jet fuel, also earns XP. For the last XP, the Coach adds just enough SAF to a flight you have booked. Every step shows what it adds and what it costs.
What is SAF?
SAF (Sustainable Aviation Fuel) is a cleaner replacement for ordinary jet fuel. KLM and Air France let you add a voluntary SAF contribution to a booking. Flying Blue rewards that with about 1 XP for every EUR 10, so the last few XP need no extra flight. How SAF earns XP

Miles
What your Miles really cost, and what they are worth
Every mile has a source and a price. SkyStatus shows what cards, subscriptions and flights earned you, what a mile cost on average and what your balance is worth at your own valuation. Awards show the value you got back.
- Balance after the activity you already booked
- Cost per mile by source
- Value of every award, in cents per mile

Who builds SkyStatus
I built SkyStatus after years of spreadsheets and guesswork. Its calculations use Flying Blue's published rules and checks against real activity statements, including my own.
Common questions
What is SkyStatus?
SkyStatus is a free, independent app for Flying Blue, the loyalty programme of Air France and KLM. You import your activity statement and see your XP, UXP and Miles in one view, what your booked flights will add, how far you are from the status you want and what your Miles are worth.
Is SkyStatus free?
Yes. The account, statement imports, the Status Coach and the tools are free. No payment details are needed.
Do you need my Flying Blue password?
No. You download your activity statement from flyingblue.com yourself and import the PDF. SkyStatus never logs in to your Flying Blue account.
How accurate is the forecast?
Recorded figures come straight from your statement and are checked against its totals. Booked flights are estimated with Flying Blue's earning table, the same one the free XP calculator uses. Your statement always shows the final credit.
Is SkyStatus part of Air France-KLM or Flying Blue?
No. SkyStatus is independent and not affiliated with Air France, KLM or Flying Blue. Check your Flying Blue account for official balances and status.
